1/ Research
First of all I had to understand:
who is my user?
What matters to them?
Also, to better understand the market I had a look at other competitors to see what they were already doing and also to see their position regarding price (luxury- normal) and level of innovation (traditional- trendy/designed)
Positioning Map: Artisanal goods Market
After gathering all the information I clustered the data into the Affinity diagram to find common topics and areas of interest
Now that I knew about patterns and trends I draw what my stereotypical user would be and that is…
Amalia!

4/ For the future…
I discovered that not only there are plenty of people that find artisans around when traveling but also when working as an expat.
I found that it could be great to give expats the opportunity to promote as patrons local artisans. Making us sure that they are being paid fairly and that we are really helping the community and supporting women and ancestral techniques that otherwise will be forgotten.
There will then be two types of users: customers (that buy artisanal pieces), patrons&Artisans ( that sell their pieces).
